Harris County Property Tax: Due Dates & How to Pay (2026)
When property taxes are due for Spring homeowners and where to handle your bill, from official Harris County sources. Updated July 2026.
Harris County property taxes are due by January 31 and become delinquent February 1, when a 6% penalty plus 1% interest is assessed for February. If January 31 falls on a weekend or county holiday, the next business day is honored as timely.
